GUJRAT, JAN 14: The gruesome rape and murder of a five-year-old girl in Gujrat’s Khohar area has left the nation in shock as the postmortem report confirms sexual assault.
According to the medical report, the girl was subjected to brutal assault on her face, back, and other parts of her body before being murdered.
The child was reportedly kidnapped, raped, and later killed. Her body was found stuffed in a sack and dumped from a height of 30 feet.
However, the case remains unresolved as the culprits have yet to be apprehended, even after nine days. Police have detained three suspects, and claim their involvement will be confirmed following DNA analysis.
Onlookers have criticized the authorities for their slow progress, with residents staging protests three days ago demanding swift action against the perpetrators. A case has been registered against unidentified individuals based on a complaint by the victim’s father, Junaid.
