ISLAMABAD, JAN 7 /DNA/ – : Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired the committee meeting on preparations for the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, to be hosted by Pakistan in 2026.
DPM/FM instructed on finalizing arrangements, logistics, and thematic sessions, ensuring smooth organization and close coordination among relevant Ministries and the OIC Secretariat. He highlighted that the upcoming conference reflects Pakistan’s commitment to promoting women’s rights and strengthening their role across social, economic, and political spheres.
The meeting was attended by the Federal Ministers for Law & Justice; SAPM Tariq Bajwa; Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch, Secretaries of Cabinet, Human Rights, and other relevant divisions, and senior officials from concerned Ministries.
