ISLAMABAD, FEB 5 /DNA/: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar MIshaqDar, called on the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev President_uz, who is undertaking a two-day State Visit to Pakistan.
The DPM/FM conveyed the warm greetings of the President, Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan to President Mirziyoyev. He underscored the profound importance that Pakistan accords to its cordial relations with Uzbekistan and expressed confidence that the Presidential visit would contribute towards further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen and diversify the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
