DC inspects public facilities in Kallar Syedan

RAWALPINDI, 28 JULY (DNA) —      Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir conducted a comprehensive visit to Tehsil Kallar Syedan on Monday to review healthcare, civic, and administrative services at the Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital, Tehsil Office, and Municipal Committee.

During his inspection of the THQ Hospital’s emergency unit and various wards, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with patients and their attendants to inquire about healthcare delivery, medicine availability, sanitation, and staff conduct.  He directed the hospital management to ensure top-tier medical care, courteous behavior, timely treatment, and strict cleanliness standards.

Proceeding to the Tehsil Office, DC Nadeem Nasir inspected the water filtration plant and issued directives to maintain a continuous supply of clean drinking water for citizens. At the Municipal Committee Kallar Syedan, he reviewed sanitation operations and local civic projects before inaugurating a tree plantation drive by planting a sapling.

He emphasized that expanding green cover aligns with the “Green Punjab” vision and is vital to combating environmental pollution. He instructed officials to ensure the post-care and survival of all newly planted saplings.
