ATTOC, JAN 17: Punjab Food Authority ATTOCK seized a bulk of dead chicken while supplying in the market on Sunday. The Spokesperson of Food Authority saying that n inspection was conducted under the kind supervision of the Respected Deputy Director Operations, Punjab Food Authority (PFA), Attock, in coordination with the Livestock Department through joint raids.
Punjab Food Authority Attock had been making continuous efforts for more than seven days to trace a vehicle allegedly involved in the supply of dead chicken. On 16 January 2026, the Food Safety Team received credible information regarding the transportation of dead poultry birds in a vehicle. Acting promptly on the information, the team intercepted the vehicle at 3 Meela Stop, Attock.
Upon inspection, the vehicle bearing Registration No. RIN-3507 was found carrying a large quantity of dead poultry birds.

*Food Safety Team found dead poultry birds on above said vehicle and that meat was unfit for human consumption (As per findings by Veterinary Officer Livestock)*
Both Culprits and Vehicle were handed over to the City Police Station Attock
