Deported passenger handed over to FIA after arrival from Kuwait

ISLAMABAD, Jun 03: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone initiated legal action against a Pakistani passenger deported from Kuwait for allegedly entering the country illegally from Saudi Arabia.

An official told APP on Wednesday that passenger Shawring, son of Miram Shah, arrived at Islamabad International Airport on flight J9511 from Kuwait after being deported by Kuwaiti authorities.

The official said the passenger was deported on allegations of illegally entering Kuwait from Saudi Arabia and reached Pakistan on an emergency passport.

Following initial scrutiny and legal formalities at the airport, the accused was handed over to FIA Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad for further investigation and legal proceedings.

The official said the passenger’s passport, travel record and other relevant documents had also been taken into custody as part of the investigation.

FIA Islamabad Zone continues its crackdown against illegal immigration and human smuggling and is taking action against individuals involved in immigration-related violations in accordance with the law, he added.
