ISLAMABAD, OCT 29 /DNA/ – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister attended Türkiye’s Republic Day reception in Islamabad as the Chief Guest, celebrating the 101st anniversary of the Turkish Republic. Extending heartfelt congratulations to Türkiye’s leadership and people, he expressed solidarity following the recent terrorist attack in Ankara, reaffirming Pakistan’s support for Türkiye against terrorism.

Highlighting the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Türkiye, he reflected on Türkiye’s progress since 1923 under Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and noted Türkiye’s unwavering support for Pakistan in times of crisis. Addressing global challenges, he condemned Israel’s actions in Palestinian territories and emphasized Pakistan and Türkiye’s shared commitment to supporting Palestinian self-determination.

Quoting Atatürk’s words, “Peace at home, peace in the world,” the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister underscored the importance of unity, wishing prosperity for Türkiye and affirming the enduring Pak-Turk friendship: “Pak-Turk Dosti Zindabad! Pakistan Paindabad!”
