KARACHI, May 12 (DNA): Despite the ceasefire, India has not restored flight operations at its 20 airports, which have been closed for a week so is there a fear of the Pakistan Army in the Indian government or some secret plan is being made.
Around 300 flights are continuously cancelled and all the aircraft have also been removed from these airports.
According to sources, 123 flights operate daily from Amritsar airport in India, near Lahore, but all are cancelled and one Cessna aircraft is available there. 65 daily flights are cancelled from Srinagar airport, which has been closed for six days, and there is no aircraft.
Thirty daily flights have been cancelled from Ladakh’s Leh Kaushik airport; 30 flights from occupied Jammu have been cancelled and all aircraft have been grounded.
Dharamshala airport operates 14 flights and has one Global Ranger aircraft of Punjab Civil Aviation. Chandigarh airport operates 70 flights daily, with four small aircraft parked there. Jodhpur airport operates 18 to 20 flights daily, with one 505 Jet Ranger X aircraft now parked.
Rajkot Herasar airport operates 20 flights, but there has been no Indian airline flight there for several days. Ten flights depart from Bhuj Airport in Gujarat, but there are no flights now.
Kullu Bhuntar airport operates 5 to 6 flights, but there is no plane. Adampur airport in Jalandhar operates two flights, but no aircraft is available. Shimla has four flights a day, but one aircraft and one helicopter are available.
Ludhiana airport operates 2 flights, but no aircraft is available now. There are four flights operating at Bathinda airport while flights to Saharan are cancelled and there are four aircraft.
Two to 4 flights operate daily from Bikaner Nal airport near Rahimyar Khan. For the past four days, a Lockheed Martin C-130 J-30 Hercules aircraft of the Indian Air Force has been stationed here.
Kishangarh airport operates 10 domestic flights daily, and now 6 Piper Archer aircraft from Aviana Aviation Academy have been parked there for three days. There are also no aircraft at Jaisalmer airport in India, near Sukkur and Mirpurkhas.
Haryana’s Maharaja Agrasin airport, Hisar, operates four flights daily, but there are no planes now. Four flights daily from Bathinda airport have been cancelled. There has been a flying plane of Flybig Air for the past four days. Two flights daily operate from Kandhla airport, but the SpiceJet Air plane there has been shifted to Goa.
Two daily flights operate from Mumbai to Jamnagar airport in Gujarat but it is empty now. Four flights have been cancelled at Keshod airport. There are no planes at Purbandar and Rajkot airports.
