ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (DNA): Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Rana Umar Farooq on Monday visited different checkpoints in Islamabad’s Red Zone and reviewed security arrangements and facilities being provided to police personnel deployed there.
An official told that the DIG Umar inspected the security measures at the checkpoints and checked the facilities available to officers performing security duties.
During the visit, Umar directed the concerned officers to ensure effective security arrangements and provide necessary facilities to police personnel deployed at the checkpoints.
He also issued necessary directions to further improve security arrangements and help officers perform their duties effectively.
