Diplomats throng to Bexon show organized by HAP, AQS Gallery

ISLAMABAD: A large number of diplomats and members of the civil society turned up to the Bexon Exhibition of renowned artist Qudsiya Liaquat and other artist along with Chairman Handicraft Association of Pakistan Mr. Fahad Barlas.

The event was organized by Handicrafts Association of Pakistan (HAP) at Aqs Art and Craft village 2, Shakarparian Road, Islamabad on Thursday in collaboration with Naqashee Art Gallery. Group Leader, Former President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. Sohail Altaf and President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry Saboor Malik were the guests of honor of the inaugural ceremony.

Ambassador of Malaysia Ikram Mohammad Ibrahim, Ambassador of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan H.E Maj Gen (R) Ibrahim Yala Al-Madani, Ambassador Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ali Alizada, Charge d’ Affairs Republic of Maldives Mr. Ali Rilwan, Charge d’ Affairs Republic of Indonesia Mr. Andi Ahmed Bastari and large number of art lovers participated in the ceremony also attended.

They termed exhibition a gift for art lovers and people who interest in creative abilities.

 Chairman HAP, Mr. Fahad Barlas said that Qudsia Liaquat has narrated colors of life and ambiance of amazing natural beauty with paints and brush and attracts viewers by her thought provoking artwork.  He said that Handicraft Association has provided a platform to artists and craftsmen to exhibit their talents.

 Mr. Sohail Altaf termed exhibition a pure reflection of the feelings of artist and said that visitors of exhibition will enjoy the quality art work and impressive graphic illustrations. Mr. Saboor Malik said that art and culture is a phenomenon which provides opportunity to those who had artistic creative abilities to exhibit their imagination in realities.

The President UK-Pakistan Business Council and former President Handicraft Association of Pakistan Mr. Khurshid Barlas commenting about exhibition and artistic capabilities of Qudsiya Liaquat said that art is a very sensational medium of communication to highlight any object and paintings directly influence the viewers to get attention.

He said Bexon Exhibition has set examples of high quality artwork in the Capital and it would remain center of attraction of art lovers during exhibition. Giving her views, Qudsiya Liaquat expressed gratitude to all those who had participated in the inaugural ceremony and appreciated her work. She said that painting has very old history and it has always remained focus of attraction of people who had special interest in art and craft. She said painting exhibition would come up to the expectation of visitors.
