LAHORE, JUN 11: A dramatic development has emerged in the double murder case in Lahore’s Hadiara area, where two people were killed over a land dispute — the shooter has been identified as a constable of the Elite Force.
According to police investigations, the suspect, Ijaz Majeed, opened fire using an official weapon during a clash over land. He was accompanied by his brother during the attack, which resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to two others.
Police said both suspects fled the scene following the incident. Raids are underway to apprehend them. A case has been registered against Ijaz for using official weaponry in the attack.
Son Sentenced to Death for Killing Father Over Property in Multan
A man who murdered his father over a property dispute has been sentenced to death by a court in Multan.
According to police, the convict, Sanwal, killed his father, Allah Ditta, last year. He was arrested and tried in court, where the charges against him were proven. The court handed him the death sentence following the conclusion of the trial.
