E-stamp papers launched in Tank

TANK, Mar 24: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with the Board of Revenue, has officially launched the e-stamping system with the introduction of the e-vendor module in the district.

According to the district administration Tank, the issuance of e-stamp papers under this modern system began on Tuesday(March 24).


The initiative aims to facilitate the public, enhance transparency, and curb forgery.
According to officials, traditional stamp papers have now been replaced with e-stamps issued on plain white paper through a secure digital system.


These e-stamp papers are equipped with advanced security features, including QR codes and real-time online verification, enabling instant authentication of documents.


The district administration said that authorized e-vendors would issue e-stamp papers ranging in value from PKR 150 to PKR 500. Payment of stamp duty will be made through a PSID-based electronic system, ensuring full transparency and traceability.


The e-stamp papers issued through the e-vendor module will be fully legally valid for all types of registrations, legal proceedings, and evidentiary purposes.


The district administration has urged the citizens to benefit from this modern and secure system and to obtain e-stamp papers only from authorized e-vendors to avoid any risk of fraud.
