ISLAMABAD, JUL 4: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the schedule for elections on vacant Senate seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Polling will be held on July 21 in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
According to the schedule, elections will be conducted for seven general seats, two seats reserved for women, and two seats reserved for technocrats and Ulema from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He ECP stated that the Senate elections in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly were postponed on April 2, 2024.
The polling was delayed due to the Speaker’s refusal to administer the oath to the newly elected members.
Additionally, the election schedule for the seat vacated by Senator Sania Nishtar has also been issued.
