Education consultants back Anjum Nisar group for LCCI polls

LAHORE, AUG 2: /DNA/ – The Association of Foreign Education Industry Consultants (AFEIC) and its allied groups have expressed their full confidence in the leadership of the PIAF and announced their complete and unconditional support for the group in the upcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections.

The announcement was made during a meeting hosted by AFEIC, where a delegation of the PIAF (Anjum Nisar Group) was warmly received by AFEIC Chairman Syed Azim Ali, President Mian Tanvir Nazir, Women Wing President Shaheen Malik, and members of the AFEIC Executive Body.

The PIAF delegation included PIAF Patron-in-Chief Mian Anjum Nisar, Lahore Chamber Senior Vice President Tanvir Ahmed Sheikh, former LCCI President Muhammad Ali Mian, and members of the PIAF and LCCI Executive Committee.

Speaking on the occasion, the AFEIC leadership appreciated the services rendered by the PIAF leadership and LCCI representatives for the business community. They also praised their policies and efforts aimed at addressing the concerns of traders, businessmen, investors, and other stakeholders.

The AFEIC office-bearers said that the education industry was an important contributor to the national economy and played a vital role in promoting international educational opportunities and developing human resources. They stressed the need for greater coordination between the business community and education-sector representatives to resolve the challenges faced by the industry.

The AFEIC leadership formally announced its full and vigorous support for the PIAF-Anjum Nisar Group in the forthcoming LCCI elections, expressing confidence that the group would continue to effectively represent the interests of the business community at the chamber and policy-making levels.

The AFEIC representatives also expressed hope that the PIAF leadership would take up issues concerning the foreign education consultancy sector and other segments of the education industry with the relevant government authorities and work towards practical solutions.

Addressing the gathering, PIAF Patron-in-Chief Mian Anjum Nisar thanked the AFEIC leadership for extending its unconditional support to the PIAF-Anjum Nisar Group. He said the confidence placed in the group by representatives of the education industry was a source of encouragement and would further strengthen efforts to serve the business community.

Mian Anjum Nisar said that the PIAF would continue to work for the resolution of issues confronting the education sector and the wider business community. He emphasized that sustainable economic growth required close cooperation between the private sector, educational institutions, industry representatives, and government departments.

He said the business community was facing several challenges and needed a strong, united and effective platform to raise its concerns and advocate for policies conducive to investment, trade, education and economic development.

Mian Anjum Nisar reiterated that PIAF would make every possible effort to address legitimate concerns of the business community and would continue its struggle for business-friendly policies and a more supportive regulatory environment.

The participants expressed optimism that the alliance between business and education-sector representatives would further strengthen collective efforts to resolve industry-related issues and promote economic activity.

The meeting concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields to PIAF Patron-in-Chief Mian Anjum Nisar and other officials in recognition of their services and participation.
