Empowering Future Leaders: ICCI President Announces Zafar Bakhtawari Scholarships

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 1 (DNA) – Alkhidmat Foundation is making a profound impact on humanity by selflessly prioritizing the well-being of others, without expectation of worldly rewards; it embodies the true spirit of philanthropy, inspiring us all to strive for a more empathetic, harmonious and compassionate global community.

This has been stated by Ahsan Zafar Baktawari, President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry while addressing a mega welfare event of the Foundation here at S.M.Muneer Auditorium where sewing machines, wheel chairs were distributed among the deserving individuals as well as the cash awards to top position holder students.

 Bakhtawari acknowledged Alkhidmat Foundation’s widespread presence, not only in Pakistan but also in other countries, particularly during natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, heatwaves and droughts. He pledged his full support and that of the Islamabad business community for the Foundation’s initiatives. Furthermore, he announced Scholarship Awards in the name of his father, renowned philanthropist and business leader Zafar Bakhtawari. These scholarships will cover the expenses of two university students recommended by Alkhidmat Foundation. Congratulating the position holder students, Bakhtawari encouraged them to work hard, contribute to the country’s development and strive to make Pakistan a great nation, emphasizing that they are the future of the country.

President All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajraan, Kashif Chaudhry praised Alkhidmat Foundation for commendable fulfilling the responsibilities that actually fall in the purview of the State.

Former MNA Mian Mohammad Aslam emphasized the importance of seeking guidance from the holy book in all aspects of life. He stressed that this is essential to create a sustainable and peaceful world for everyone, where individuals can thrive and coexist harmoniously.

President  Alkhidmat Foundation Islamabad, Hamid Ather Malik, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to serving all members of society in need without discrimination, empowering them to live with dignity and respect.

Secretary General Altaf Sher highlighted Alkhidmat Foundation’s existing welfare projects, as well as its future initiatives aimed at serving humanity.

The ceremony was also attended by Chairman Social Welfare Committee ICCI Imtiaz Abbasi and ICCI member Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry.
