Farrukh slams Rana for threat to impose governor’s rule

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Secretary Information Farrukh Habib warned that those who talked about the imposition of governor’s rule in Punjab should bear in mind that they must be ready to face public wrath, which would be unbearable.

In his strong-worded reaction on Wednesday, he slammed the Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah for his irresponsible statement threatening that work on imposition of governor’s rule started.

Farrukh warned that the public’s rule has been established in Punjab now; hence those who wanted imposition of governor’s rule would not sustain public anger even for two hours.

He said that after yesterday’s terrible defeat, their crying and yelling were understandable, as they faced humiliation everywhere.

Farrukh Habib stated that those who talked about governor’s rule in Punjab should be careful now as people’s rule has been established in Punjab after the cabal of crooks were rejected by the people.

PTI Secretary Information went on to say that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) used to oppress people through Punjab police, but now it was no more in their control, as Shehbaz Sharif’s government ended Islamabad toll plaza.

Farrukh Habib said that Rana Sanaullah who used to say that he would not let 20 people in the long march, then the sea of people came to Islamabad.

He said that no institution, including the judiciary, was safe from their intimidations and blackmailing tactics, as they resorted to hurl threats to those whom they could not buy.

Farrukh Habib said that when they were in government, they squeezed necks of their opponents however, when they were out of the government, they hold feet.
