RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Asim Munir has said he is deeply thankful to Allah Almighty upon being conferred the prestigious rank of Field Marshal.
“This honour is dedicated to the entire nation, the Pakistan Armed Forces—especially our civil and military martyrs and veterans,” he stated.
He expressed gratitude to the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, and the Cabinet for placing their trust in him. “This title is a sacred trust of the nation, and millions of Asims are ready to sacrifice everything to uphold it,” said Field Marshal Munir.
He emphasized that the honour is not an individual one, but rather a recognition bestowed upon the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the entire nation.
Field Marshal Asim Munir extended heartfelt thanks to the people of Pakistan for their continued trust and support.
