ISLAMABAD, AUG 19 (DNA):On the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, China’s Foreign Minister and member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, will arrive in Islamabad to co-chair the 6th Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.
The high-level visit underscores the close and longstanding ties between Pakistan and China, built on the foundation of their “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.” The dialogue will provide an opportunity for both sides to reaffirm their support on each other’s core national interests, discuss regional and global developments, and explore new avenues for economic and trade cooperation.
The two foreign ministers will also deliberate on enhancing bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, including connectivity, infrastructure development, and people-to-people exchanges. Both countries are expected to reaffirm their joint commitment to advancing regional peace, development, and stability.
The visit is part of the regular high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China, reflecting the deep-rooted strategic trust and friendship between the two nations.
