The central warehousing center in Islamabad is now officially operational which marks a key step for the platform in building its supply chain, logistics distribution, and local warehousing system.
The establishment of the Islamabad warehousing center not only significantly improves the efficiency of product sorting and delivery but also creates numerous local jobs, covering areas such as warehouse management, customer service, and logistics distribution.
Meanwhile, it is actively expanding to Pakistan’s largest city and port hub, Karachi, while also preparing a regional operations center in the country’s second-largest city, Lahore.
Within the next three months, the platform plans to complete the setup of warehousing and courier networks in all major cities nationwide, providing users with a more efficient and convenient shopping experience.
“Our goal is for every user to receive their products within 48 hours,” said the head of logistics at Gold Box Pakistan.
Since the warehousing center opened, the platform has created over 500 direct and indirect local jobs and plans to increase this number to 2,000 within the next year.
In addition, the platform’s promotion plan is attracting more and more young people to engage in e-commerce entrepreneurship.
College students, freelancers, and housewives can earn income by sharing products and recommending new users, forming a sustainable light-entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The operations team of Gold Box revealed that the platform will complete strategic deployments by 2025 including Karachi port distribution center, Lahore regional operations center and one km Express Delivery Plan.
