Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Tuesday, mirroring the international market’s downward trend.
The per tola price of the precious metal fell by Rs200, settling at Rs214,000, while the 10-gram gold rate dropped by Rs172 to Rs183,470, as reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the previous session, gold prices in Pakistan had already decreased by Rs400, reaching Rs214,200 per tola. The international gold rate, with a $20 premium, was established at $1,988 on Tuesday, marking a $15 decline in the global market, as indicated by the APGJSA.
Silver rates
Meanwhile, silver rates remained stable at Rs2,580 per tola. The fluctuations in gold prices both locally and globally continue to be of interest to investors and the public alike.
