Justice system will sound the death knell for oppressors, tyrants: Raoof
ISLAMABAD, JUN 4 /DNA/ – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan hailed the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) landmark decisions to exonerate PTI Founding Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the fabricated cipher case and to reopen the party’s central secretariat as a resounding triumph of truth and justice.
PTI Central Information Secretary expressed profound gratitude to the IHC on behalf of PTI for its courageous decisions rooted in justice and law. He emphasized that the establishment of a robust and independent justice system, the supremacy of the constitution, and the rule of law would deal a fatal blow to oppressors, tyrants, and their sinister agenda, heralding a new era of peace, justice, and prosperity for the country and its people.
He declared that it’s a welcome respite to witness the judiciary standing firm in upholding the constitution’s supremacy and refusing to sanction the state’s attempts to legitimize and grant constitutional cover to shameless scoundrels.
PTI CIS made it clear that despite facing the most brutal state oppression and fascism, Imran Khan and PTI remained steadfast in their unwavering commitment to uphold the constitutional supremacy and ensure the rule of law in the country.
He recalled that the last two years have been the darkest period in the country’s political and judicial history, during which every unconstitutional, illegal, barbaric and brutal tactic was used to topple the democratically elected government and crush the largest political party of the country.
Raoof said that the forces that usurped the people’s basic rights and made the constitution and law virtually ineffective chained the judiciary to pave the way for fulfilment of their nefarious agenda.
PTI CIS went on to say that the power wielders perpetrated unprecedented political, democratic, and administrative chaos in the country by blatantly flouting the law and egregiously abusing their authority. However, Raoof further added that Imran Khan and his party resisted and endured every state effort ranging from regime change to crush PTI with patience, perseverance and steadfastness while staying within the bounds of the constitution and legal framework.
He said that the biased, cowardly, and unconstitutional behavior of individuals sitting on high judicial positions was also tolerated with great patience, and justice was sought from the courts without being frustrated or provoked.
Raoof said that today, by the grace of Allah Almighty, the false narratives, baseless cases, and serious judicial injustices that were used to prop up the oppressive regime are being dismantled and disintegrated, as the efforts to establish the supremacy of the constitution and law in the judiciary are gaining momentum.
PTI CIS emphasised that PTI Chairman-for-life, was unwavering in his demand for the strict adherence to the rule of law and the constitution, and would not compromise on anything less, reiterating that Imran Khan’s stance was clear, as nothing more than the constitution and the law, and nothing less.
He declared that the establishment of a robust and impartial justice system, coupled with the supremacy of the constitution and the rule of law would sound the death knell for oppressors, tyrants, and their nefarious agenda, ushering in a bright new dawn for the country and its people.
Raoof expressed optimism that the long-awaited dawn would soon rise in all its glory and the forces of darkness who have exploited and oppressed others would be consigned to the dustbin of history along with their sinister ambitions and goals.
