MAkkah, May 1: Pakistani pilgrims currently in Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026 have expressed immense satisfaction with the government’s arrangements, describing the facilities provided in Makkah, particularly in the Al-Aziziyah district as “unparalleled.”

According to feedback from pilgrims on the ground, reforms introduced this year in accommodation, catering, and technology have set new benchmarks for services provided to Pakistani Hajj participants.

Pilgrims have specifically lauded the quality of food served at their residences. They noted that the menu thoughtfully incorporates traditional Pakistani flavors, including dishes such as *Aloo Palak(spinach and potatoes) and Shalgam Gosht (turnip meat). The timely provision of yogurt (lassi), fresh fruit, mineral water, and fresh bread (roti) with every meal has ensured that pilgrims feel at home even while abroad.

A standout success of this year’s Hajj Mission is the effective implementation of modern technology and digital applications. Pilgrims reported that smart apps have allowed for the immediate registration of complaints and quick access to information, ensuring transparency in administrative affairs and saving valuable time. For those less familiar with technology, the presence of dedicated assistants has made the process seamless, resulting in exemplary communication between the administration and the pilgrims.

In Al-Aziziyah, Pakistani pilgrims have been provided with clean, furnished rooms alongside well-coordinated transport arrangements. Pilgrims highlighted that access from their residences to the Haram Sharif has been made easy and convenient, allowing them to focus entirely on their prayers and the performance of Hajj rituals.

Pakistani Hajj participants in Makkah have widely commended the efforts of the Government of Pakistan and the Hajj Mission, characterizing the current setup as one of the most organized and successful operations to date.
