ATTOCK, APR 30 /DNA/ – Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Attock, Anil Saeed, has stated that the complete eradication of dengue is only possible through effective public participation and awareness. He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting regarding the anti-dengue campaign held at the DC Office, Attock. The meeting was attended by CEO Health Dr. Asad Ismail and officers from the Health Department, Education Department, and other relevant departments.
During the briefing, Dr. Asad Ismail and health department officials informed the participants in detail about the ongoing dengue prevention efforts. It was shared that various measures are being taken across the district to eliminate dengue. All departments are playing their specific roles in this regard, and awareness campaigns are also being run to educate the public. During the meeting, the performance of all departments involved in the dengue campaign was thoroughly reviewed.
Addressing the participants, ADCG Anil Saeed emphasized that under the current conditions, the dengue mosquito is extremely dangerous and potentially deadly. He stressed the need for all government, semi-government, and private institutions to play an active role in the eradication of dengue and to ensure the implementation of all necessary measures.
He further stated that the public must be fully informed about the preventive steps against dengue mosquitoes and that it must be ensured that citizens adhere to these precautions effectively.
