ISLAMABAD, MAY 19: /DNA/ – A three-day comprehensive meeting of the National Curriculum Review Committee for Law, convened by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan to revamp the curriculum for Bachelor of Laws (LLB), has concluded. Â
The meeting was presided by Director General Curriculum HEC Dr. Amjad Hussain, Member Pakistan Bar Council Mr. Hassan Raza Pasha, Director Directorate of Legal Education Pakistan (DLE) Barrister Usama Malik and Dean Quaid-Azam University School of Law Dr. Aziz u Rehman. Deputy Director (Curriculum) HEC Mr. Hidayatullah Kasi facilitated the sessions as Secretary.
The committee gave in principle approval for the four-year LLB programme and re-designed a new curriculum for the degree based on international best practices and to fulfill the legal education requirements for Pakistan. The said curriculum will go on for further approvals as required under law for its final implementation.
