ISLAMABAD, OCT 29 /DNA/ – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has notified the revised curriculum for degree programs in Business and Management Studies, developed through a comprehensive review conducted by the National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC).
The NCRC meeting, held at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), Peshawar, brought together eminent academicians and subject experts from leading universities across Pakistan. The revision process was facilitated by HEC’s Curriculum Division.
The updated curricula for BBA, BS, MBA, EMBA, MS, and Associate Degree programs have been designed to address emerging trends, evolving market demands, and global best practices. The revised framework aligns with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and HEC’s Undergraduate and Graduate Education Policies 2023, ensuring consistency, quality, and relevance across all higher education institutions.
The session was led by Dr. Naukhez Sarwar, Professor and Principal, NUST Business School, as Convener and Dr. Farooq-e-Azam Cheema, Provost, KSBL Karachi, as Co-Convener, while Mr. Hidayatullah Kasi, Deputy Director (Curriculum), facilitated the session as Secretary NCRC.
