DUBAI, JUL 16: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued the latest Test player rankings, with England’s Joe Root reclaiming the number one position from compatriot Harry Brook.
Harry Brook slipped two places to third, while New Zealand’s Kane Williamson secured the second spot. Australia’s Steve Smith stands at fourth. No Pakistani batsman features in the top ten Test batters list.
In the Test bowlers’ rankings, India’s Jasprit Bumrah remains at the top, followed by Kagiso Rabada in second, Pat Cummins third, and Josh Hazlewood fourth.
Pakistan’s spinner Nauman Ali holds the fifth position among the top Test bowlers.
