ISLAMABAD: In a significant move aimed at fostering mutual cooperation and supporting the business community, the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and Bahria Town Rawalpindi have entered into a formal collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the ICCI premises on Tuesday.
The MoU was signed by Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, President ICCI, and Sajid Ilyas, Deputy Chief Executive of Bahria Town Rawalpindi. Under the agreement, ICCI members will be entitled to exclusive discounts on selected services offered by Bahria Town. In return, ICCI will promote Bahria Town’s various projects through its official social media platforms.
Speaking on the occasion, ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi highlighted the Chamber’s continued efforts for the ease of doing business and providing a level playing field for the entrepreneurial community, especially ICCI members. He said the partnership reflects ICCI’s commitment to bringing value-driven collaborations for the benefit of the business fraternity.
Sajid Ilyas shed light on Bahria Town’s diverse projects, including housing schemes, equestrian activities, and golf facilities, emphasizing the group’s vision to uplift living standards and contribute to community development.
Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui and Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry also addressed the gathering, reiterating ICCI’s mission to advocate for and facilitate the business community.
The ceremony was attended by several notable figures from both sides. From Bahria Town, Ahmed Ali (Director), Tahir Hanif (Senior GM Finance), Kaleem Ullah (GM HR), and M. Awais (Deputy GM Marketing) were present. From ICCI, Executive Member Waseem Chaudhry, members Ehtesham Chaudhry business leaders Shakeel Ahmed, Sammar Abbas, and Atif Hussain participated.
