ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry under its Rising Generation Empowerment Committee organized a Freelancing and Digital Media Training Session attended by Islamabad Youth Assembly and students of different Universities of Islamabad. Fahad Malik, IT specialist and recipient of Nishan-e-Imtiaz attended the session as Chief Guest. He guided the attendees about the development of the IT skills as well as the techniques to earn money through online careers.
During the interactive session he gave answers of student’s questions about digital media freelancing and underlined the need for getting complete command over the skills for online jobs.
In his address former President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Secretary General United Business Group Zafar Bakhtawari said the ICCI organizes various training programs, seminars, conferences and workshops for enhancing skills in different fields and sectors. It promotes entrepreneurship culture and takes initiatives for youth entrepreneurship development and women’s economic empowerment adding that the youth must be aware of the fact that hard work and piety are prerequisites for their success.
Clinical Psychologist and Convener Rising Generation Empowerment Committee ICCI Fatima Hassan emphasized that digital skills are the need of the hour not only for an individual’s prosperity but for a country’s development. She went on to say that ICCI from its platform is doing its best to impart necessary training and awareness to youth to make them successful entrepreneurs and job providers.
Secretary General Islamabad Youth Assembly Aneeqa Hassan commended ICCI President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari for taking the initiatives for youth empowerment which is a service to the nation in true manners.
On their part students were happy and satisfied on attending this useful and informative session which will definitely play a significant role in fulfilling their future ambitions
