ISLAMABAD, NOV 27 (DNA) — A technical team of International Monetary Fund (IMF) experts has reached Pakistan which will hold consultations on tax reforms and tax policy.
According to sources, the IMF delegation will meet with the officials of FBR and the Finance Ministry. The issues related to increasing the tax net and income will be considered during the meeting.
Sources said that the IMF team will discuss tax policy with the FBR officials and provide technical assistance to the revenue board in enforcing it. The Fund delegation will remain in Pakistan for about a week, sources added. — DNA
