ISLAMABAD, MAY 10: The spokesperson for India’s Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed that Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire. The ceasefire officially began at 4:30 PM, according to the Indian Foreign Ministry.
The Indian spokesperson also stated that negotiations between the two countries will take place tomorrow at a neutral location.
Earlier today, a conversation took place between Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) and his Indian counterpart, during which both sides agreed to the ceasefire.
Pakistan and India have agreed to a comprehensive ceasefire, according to a statement from the spokesperson of India’s Ministry of External Affairs. The ceasefire officially commenced at 4:30 PM today.
The spokesperson confirmed that negotiations between the two countries will take place tomorrow at a neutral location.
The ceasefire was agreed upon during a conversation between the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of both countries. The Indian spokesperson further stated that the DGMOs will hold another round of talks on May 12.
The ceasefire agreement will apply across land, air, and sea, ensuring complete cessation of hostilities between the two nations.
