Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Coordinator Saif Ur Rehman shared these views while addressing a seminar on “The Role of AI in Transformation of Industry” here on Sunday.
He added that AI is rapidly transforming industries across the globe, reshaping traditional work patterns and redefining professional roles while AI brings immense opportunities for efficiency and innovation. However, it also demands a proactive approach from people to upgrade their skills and adapt to emerging technologies.
FTO Coordinator said that professionals must have to keep pace with these advancements as automation and intelligent systems continue to replace routine tasks and continuous learning, digital literacy, and technical competence are no longer optional but essential requirements in today’s competitive environment.
Saif Ur Rehman pointed out that organizations must also invest in training and development programmes to equip their workforce with necessary tools to thrive in an AI-driven landscape. Improved skill sets not only enhance individual performance but also contribute significantly to overall productivity and economic growth.
