ISLAMABAD, MAY 3: The coverage of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was completely banned in Pakistan following the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India after the Pahalgam attack.

Sources have revealed that IPL matches will no longer be broadcast in Pakistan from now on. It is pertinent to note that IPL matches were previously broadcast on various apps and channels.

However, with the recent decision, fans in Pakistan will no longer have access to live broadcasts of the matches.

Separately, the Indian authorities blocked access to the social media accounts of several high-profile Pakistani athletes.

According to Indian media reports, the social media accounts of former Pakistan’s national cricket team captain, Babar Azam, and wicketkeeper-batsman, Mohammad Rizwan, remained inaccessible to users within India, as reported by various Indian outlets.
