Tehran – IRNA – The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned the armed attack of the Takfiri and extremist elements on the Shiites of the Parachinar region of Pakistan, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of people.
Nasir Kanani ناصر کنعانی stated in a statement: This criminal act saddened the hearts of all Muslims and while showing the oppression of the people of the mentioned region, it revealed the criminal nature of Takfiri movements and the necessity of a coordinated, serious and powerful fight against these elements.
He said: The Islamic Republic of Iran condemns all forms of extremism that have targeted the unity of the Islamic world and the brotherly and neighboring country – Pakistan – and emphasizes the need for the solidarity of all Islamic countries to effectively fight against Takfiri groups.
He also considers the cooperation of the countries of the region to continuously fight against the perpetrators, organizers, supporters and financial sponsors of these Heinous acts as necessary and inevitable.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, while appreciating the actions of the Pakistani government in dealing with Takfiri and terrorist movements, emphasized the need to continue efforts and decisive measures to deal with the perpetrators of recent crimes and save the lives of the people of Parachinar.
