BAGHDAD, Jun 25 (QNA/APP/DNA):The Iraqi Ministry of Oil revealed Tuesday that the country exported more than 100 million barrels of crude oil last month, generating revenues exceeding $6 billion.
The ministry said in a statement that total oil exports and revenues last month, according to data from the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), amounted to 101,630,925 barrels, with revenues estimated at $6,361,636,000.
It noted that the total quantities exported from oil fields in the central and southern parts of the country amounted to 100,365,335 barrels, while exports from the Qayyarah field in Nineveh Governorate were estimated at 955,684 barrels. said that Iraq’s exports to neighboring Jordan in May amounted to 309,906 barrels.
Iraq’s oil exports in April were estimated at 100,953,282 barrels, generating revenues of $6,738,309,000.
