Ishaq Dar calls Pakistan-Saudi Arabia-Türkiye Defense Pact landmark for strategic cooperation

ISLAMABAD, Aug 7: Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar Friday said the landmark Trilateral Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye, in Makkah Mukaramma marks an important step in advancing strategic cooperation and further strengthening the enduring bonds of brotherhood among the three nations.

In a post on X, he said he was honoured to participate in the signing ceremony of the agreement.

“May this partnership contribute to greater regional peace, stability, and mutual prosperity for generations to come, Insha’Allah,” he added.

In an earlier post, he said, “Ahead of the signing of the Trilateral “Makkah Joint Defence Agreement”, the leadership and delegations of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye offered Jumma prayers together in the Haram Sharif, praying to Allah Almighty (SWT) to bless our deliberations and guide us toward decisions that strengthen peace, security, and brotherhood among our nations.”

“May Allah Almighty grant this partnership enduring success and make it a source of lasting peace, stability, and prosperity for our peoples. Ameen,” he added.
