ISLAMABAD, JUN 7: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar extended on Saturday Eid-ul-Azha greetings to his counterparts from Türkiye, Egypt and Azerbaijan in separate telephone conversations.
During these calls, mutual felicitations were exchanged and prayers were offered for the prosperity and well-being of the Muslim Ummah, as well as for strengthening bilateral relations and promoting regional peace.
Call with Turkish foreign minister
Senator Dar spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, exchanging Eid-ul-Azha greetings and offering prayers for the welfare and unity of the Muslim Ummah, including the people of Palestine.
Conversation with Egyptian foreign minister
The deputy prime minister also held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aaty. Both leaders exchanged Eid greetings and prayed for peace and prosperity across the Islamic world, particularly for the Muslims of Gaza.
Discussion with Azerbaijani foreign minister
Senator Dar also spoke with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. The two ministers discussed strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing multilateral cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional developments and matters of mutual interest, offering Eid-ul-Azha greetings and prayers for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
