Tariq Fatemi will act as the Prime Minister Adviser on Foreign Affairs.
ISLAMABAD: Former Finance Minister and key PML N leader Ishaq Dar is likely to become the foreign minister. PML N sources have revealed that Nawaz Sharif has approved Ishaq Dar’s name to head the ministry of foreign affairs.
Sources say that Dar was still interested in the finance ministry however his past estranged relations with the Establishment proved as a stumbling block.
Shehbaz Sharif is to make the final decision in this regard.
Tariq Fatemi will act as PM Special Assistant on foreign affairs.
The caretaker foreign minister Jalil Abbas Jilani shall also act as the Prime Minister Adviser on Foreign Affairs.
