ISLAMABAD, OCT 29 /DNA/ – A delegation of Flour Mill Owners from Islamabad, led by the Acting President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Tahir Ayub, held a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, here on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting was to apprise the Deputy Commissioner of different challenges confronting the flour mills owners in the region as to seek their prompt redressal.
During the meeting, the Acting President ICCI, Tahir Ayub, highlighted the issues being faced by flour mill owners due to certain policy constraints. He emphasized the importance of addressing these concerns on an urgent basis to ensure smooth supply of flour and maintain price stability in the local market.
In his remarks, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, lauded the vital role of the business community in the economic growth and development of the federal capital. He assured the delegation that the Administration is fully committed to resolving their problems on a priority basis, as it is the duty of the government to facilitate both citizens and the business sector for the collective prosperity of the region.
Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination to promote a business-friendly environment in Islamabad.
