RAWALPINDI: On the eve of the holy month of Ramadan, Jinnah Iqbal South Asian Forum will distribute Ramadan ration (30 kg per family) among deserving Safaidposh families on Sunday, 15 February 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Anjuman Faiz-ul-Islam Hall, Faizabad, Rawalpindi.
Former Punjab Health Minister Dr. Jamal Nasir will be the Chief Guest, while the event will be presided over by Mr. Muzaffar Mahmud Qureshi, former Federal Secretary for Social Welfare. Special guests include Col. (R) Bakhtiar Hakeem, Secretary General Thinkers Forum, renowned poet and writer Nasim Sehar, Sajjad Abbasi, Advocate Supreme Court, and prominent journalist, social and welfare activist Dr. Saadia Kamal.
Chairman of the Forum Rana Abdul Baqi stated that the initiative aims to support deserving and self-respecting families during Ramadan and to promote the spirit of social welfare and compassion in society.
