Kazakh Envoy, CDA Chief Discuss Bilateral Ties, Trade Growth

ISLAMABAD, MAY 20 /DNA/ –  A meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, and the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority of Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

During the conversation, the Ambassador briefed the head of the capital administration on the key outcomes of the 13th session of the Kazakhstan-Pakistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission and the Business Forum, which took place on April 28–29 this year in Islamabad and Karachi. He emphasized the growing mutual interest in developing multifaceted cooperation and spoke about the agreements reached in areas such as trade, standardization, sports, information, as well as between the capital chambers of commerce and industry, leading universities, and regional authorities.

Given Astana’s extensive experience in hosting high-level international events, the Pakistani side also expressed interest in exchanging expertise in this area.

In turn, Mr. Muhammad Ali Randhawa conveyed his interest in expanding cooperation with Astana in trade, economy, investment, education, and culture.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue active efforts to foster cooperation between the capitals of the two countries.
