ISLAMABAD: JULY 16 (DNA):Mr. Park Jae-lark, Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Korea, called on Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, in Islamabad today. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the areas of technology, human resource development, and industry-academia linkages.
The Federal Minister highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to building a globally competitive workforce through high-quality training programs. She emphasized the importance of strategic collaboration with Korean institutions to foster innovation and strengthen technical education in Pakistan. “We are investing in skill development to ensure our youth are equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital world,” she said.
Mr. Park appreciated the Minister’s vision and welcomed the idea of closer collaboration in emerging technologies, research, and capacity-building. Both sides agreed to explore concrete avenues for partnership to support mutual economic growth and technological advancement.
