KPEF holds Bi-annual performance review and capacity building training workshop

From Our Correspondent

PESHAWAR, APR 23: /DNA/ – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation conducted a one-day training workshop aimed at reviewing its biannual performance and enhancing the employees’ capacity. The workshop was organized by the Foundation’s Academy in collaboration with the Association for Academic Quality (AFAQ). All the employees including directors actively participated in the workshop.

Managing Director of the Foundation, Zarif Ulmani, who was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, emphasized that regularly reviewing employee performance and providing training to enhance their capabilities is vital for the progress of any institution and the delivery of benefits to the public. He pointed out the disparity between public and private sector institutions, stating that while private organizations focus seriously on performance evaluation and training for capacity building, public sector entities often neglect these aspects, which adversely impacts their performance.

He appreciated the Foundation’s employees for their goal-based performance presentations and encouraged them to continue working with dedication and sincerity, assigning them further targets for the future.

Participants were informed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation has digitized and streamlined its operations, including scholarship distribution, career counseling, research, and employee HR and performance evaluation systems.

Under the new transparent system, more than 3,000 applications have been received this year for 204 scholarships. Interviews are currently underway, and the selected students will soon be awarded their scholarship cheques through the heads of their respective educational institutions.

Furthermore, 34 subject experts and career counselors are providing free guidance to the registered students through an online portal. A series of free training webinars for youth has also been launched.

During the workshop, Dr. Fazal Elahi Awan (Senior Manager, AFAQ), Professor (R.) Dr. Najeeb Ul Haq (Peshawar Medical College), Ahmad Zaib (Web Specialist), and Ameer Zaib (Director Training, AFAQ) provided training on uncovering hidden potential, capacity building, HR, and professional development.
