Mandokhail sees friendship with Saudi Arabia vital for regional stability

ISLAMABAD, AUG 6: Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said on Wednesday that friendship with Saudi Arabia is vital not only for Pakistan but also for peace and stability across the wider region.

According to details, Mandokhel and Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki hold a key meeting in Islamabad. On this occasion, Mandokhel has acknowledged the longstanding ties between the two nations as a positive symbol for the region. He said history had shown that Saudi Arabia had always stood by Pakistan during difficult times.

The meeting between the Balochistan governor and the Saudi envoy focused on strengthening bilateral relations. Both the leaders discussed the regional situation and exploring avenues to enhance mutual cooperation.

Mandokhel said the recent launch of direct Umrah flights from Quetta International Airport, adding that the new service had significantly improved travel facilities for pilgrims and opened fresh opportunities for the people of Balochistan. He said that thousands had benefited from this initiative, which had previously been unavailable.

Al-Malki has praised the efforts of the governor, saying, “The measures has delivered real benefits to the people of Balochistan.” He also extended an invitation to Mandokhel to attend Saudi Arabia’s National Day celebrations as a guest of honour.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, religious tourism and academic exchange.
