Maryam Nawaz leaves for Umrah today

LAHORE, APR 10 (DNA) — Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz has left for Saudi Arabia today (Monday) to perform Umrah in the holy month of Ramazan.

The PML-N’s chief organiser has left for the Kingdom at 2pm from the Lahore airport as she is expected to spend the last 10 days of the holy month there. Meanwhile, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif will also be leaving for Saudi Arabia on April 11 (tomorrow) from London and join his daughter.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz has unveiled her plan for Umrah while reacting to a video on Twitter. The caption of the video posted by a user states, “Deaf and Dumb students want to meet Maryam Nawaz Sharif”. Ms Nawaz said she would see them after returning from the holy pilgrimage.

In reply, the PML-N stalwart wrote: “Pls bring these most special young men to meet me as I come back from Umra Insha Allah. Will be an honour & pleasure”. — DNA
