Massive reshuffle in Punjab bureaucracy



LAHORE: The Punjab government has carried out a massive reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy, transferring 15 senior officers.

According to a notification issued on Monday, Umar Farooq has been appointed as Deputy Secretary Agriculture Department while Amina Rafiq’s services were handed over to DG Punjab Food Authority.

Muhammad Sajid Bashir was appointed Additional Secretary of School Education Department while Imran Hussain Ranjha ordered to report to Services Department.

Muhammad Shayan Ali Jawa’s services were referred to Punjab Food Authority while Lubna Nazir was appointed as Additional Secretary Specialized Health Department.

Rao Nadeem Akhtar has been appointed as Additional Secretary Food Department while Farhat Hussain Farooq was appointed as Additional Secretary of School Education Department.

Saifur Rehman was ordered to report to Secretary Food South Punjab while Bushra Naseer has been made OSD from Punjab Revenue Authority.

Noorul Ain Qureshi was appointed as Additional Secretary Finance Department while Muhammad Azeem Shaukat was made OSD from Human Rights Department.

Hafiz Irfan Habib was appointed as Deputy Secretary Specialized Healthcare Department while Syed Ayub Bukhari was appointed Deputy Secretary Admin Transport Department.
