LAHORE, SEP 29 (DNA) – All the educational boards of Punjab have postponed the announcement of results for the intermediate and matriculation examinations. The Intermediate result for part II was supposed to be declared on September 30 and the Matric result for 1oth class on October 16.
However, all the educational boards are waiting for the approval of examination promotion policy from the cabinet. The promotion policy has yet to get a nod from the cabinet that has led to the further postponement of the results.
Secretary Punjab Boards said that new schedule for declaring the intermediate and matric results would be announced only after the approval of the promotion policy from the cabinet.
Earlier, the students appeared this year in different board exams that have been reduced only to the elective subjects according to a decision taken by the education ministers of all the provinces and federal education minister. KPK and Federal Boards have already declared the intermediate results. = DNA
