Micheal Vaughan accuses ICC of favouring India in World Cup 24’

Former England captain Micheal Vaughan accused the International Cricket Council (ICC) of favouring the Indian team in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

He said Afghanistan qualified for the World Cup 2024 semi-winning in St Vincent on Monday night but a 4-hour flight on Tuesday to Trinidad so no time to practice or get accustomed to a new venue and utter lack of respect for players.

He highlighted that the Afghanistan team should have at least one day of preparation before the semifinal match against South Africa thrashed the Afghanistan cricket team and qualified for the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 for the first time in history.

“Surely this semi-should have been Guyana one…but because the whole event is geared towards Indian it’s so unfair on others,” he alleged.
