ISLAMABAD, AUG 11 – Regarding the National Day of Minorities, FPCCI officials in their message paid tribute to the minorities living in Pakistan for their service to the country.

President FPCCI Atif Ikram Sheikh has said in a message regarding the National Day of Minorities that the Constitution of Pakistan provides complete protection to the rights of minorities.  Peace and stability in the country, unity and unity among religions is possible only through harmony. The founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in his speech on August 11, 1947, declared minorities as equal citizens.  Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted to make the Pakistan a great country in the world.

Chairman Capital Office Karim Aziz Malik has said that the minorities living in Pakistan consider themselves safe.  Pakistanis follow the orders of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.  In the wake of the August 11 speech, National Minorities Day is celebrated on August 11 every year.

Vice President FPCCI Tariq Jadoon has said that minorities in Pakistan have full religious freedom.  The people of Pakistan, including the government, fully protect the rights of minorities.

Chairman Coordination Capital Office Malik Sohail said that the best legislation regarding minorities was made in Pakistan.  The National Day of Minorities is celebrated in Pakistan in a grand manner.

Meanwhile Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has said that minorities in Pakistan have equal rights and the Constitution of Pakistan provides complete guarantees for the protection of their rights.

 In his special message on National Minorities’ Day, Mohsin Naqvi said, “our religion and constitution teach us to treat minorities with kindness and respect”. He stated that our Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah also emphasized the protection of minorities’ rights.

Interior minister said, “Minorities have played a key role in the country’s progress and development. I pay tribute to all minority communities for playing a constructive role in the country’s development as their role in this regard cannot be ignored.”

He said, “the government is striving to promote social harmony and egalitarian society”. “On this day, we must reaffirm our commitment to take more effective and practical steps to protect the rights of minorities”, the minister stressed.
