Lahore: Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf decided on Saturday to part ways with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Sources divulged that the legendary batter had decided to quit the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Ghulam Ali had been appointed as the Pakistan U-19 coach.
Yousuf was assuming responsibilities as the batting coach at the NCA and was also coaching the Pakistan U-19 team.
Prior to becoming the batting coach, Yusuf also remained part of the selection committee.
Sources privy to the development say it is expected to provide Wahab Riaz with any opportunity to work with the PCB.
Riaz could get the opportunity to deal with the matters pertaining to the organisation of the Champions’ events.
It is pertinent to note that Riaz also remained a part of the selection committee and also worked as the Pakistan national cricket team’s manager.
