Says Iranian nation stood firm against aggression
Tehran: July 15 (DNA):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati, Senior Advisor on International Affairs to Iran’s Supreme Leader .
The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, Pakistan-Iran relations, and the regional situation.
They also held exchanged views on the current situation in the region following the Iran-Israel ceasefire.
Interior Minister conveyed the best wishes from Pakistan’s political and military leadership to the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that Pakistan and Iran have always stood by each other in both war and peace. He emphasized that no enemy can create a rift between Pakistan and Iran. Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, and other senior diplomats were also present at the occasion.
Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati is a former Foreign Minister of Iran and a seasoned diplomat.
